$1 movies at Regal Cinemas on Tues/ Wed
The Regal Entertainment Group is offering a family movie festival all summer long for 2011. The movies start at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week and cost $1 to attend. Tickets are available first-come, first served and limited to the size of the theater. You have to get your tickets on the day of the show, at the theater box office. All the movies are rated G or PG. They seem to be the same movies, rotated around among the different theaters, so you could shop around if you’re willing to drive a bit. This could make a cheap birthday party, if you don’t mind getting there early to get enough tickets.
Some of the movies coming up include Shrek Forever After; Diary of a Wimpy Kid; How to Train Your Dragon, Gullivers Travels; Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Tale of Despereaux; Charlotte’s Web; Yogi Bear; Marmaduke; Megamind; Cats and Dogs: Revenge; Chronicles of Narnia; Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything; Despicable Me; Ramona & Beezus; Monsters Vs. Aliens and The Spy Next Door Regal group theaters in and around Orange County: (Note: This is a list of Regal-affiliated theaters that participated in the program last year, you might want to double check and make sure they’re on board again this year)
