Freebies at the OC Fair this summer
July 15: Opening day admission is free and parking is free too, from noon until 1 p.m.
We Care Wednesdays give free admission and one carnival ride for various donations:
Wed. July 20, Noon-4 p.m. Food drive, get in free and one carnival ride if you bring 5 nonperishable food items for the food bank
Wed. July 27: Noon-4 p.m. Children’s book drive, get in free and one carnival ride for one new children’s book or three gently used books
Wed. Aug. 3: Noon-4 p.m. Free admission and carnival ride for five gently used clothing items for Goodwill
Wed. Aug. 10: Noon-4 p.m. Free admission and carnival ride for 1 new school supply item worth at least $3
Active duty military get in free to the fair every day
Every Thursday, kids 12 and under get in free all day
Read and Ride for kids ages 5-11. Read 2 books and enter the form on the fair website, get three free carnival rides.
Free parking on Saturday and Sunday if you use the free shuttle from Experian parking lot (Anton Blvd off 405 freeway)
You can bring in your own food to eat and plastic drink bottles (no cans, glass, liquor or hard coolers)
All concert and show ticket sales include free fair admission (Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar, Action Sports Arena) on that day.
You get one free ride on La Grande Wheel in the Main Midway with each concert ticket stub from the Pacific Amphitheatre. Valid the night of the concert only.
Things that are discounted at the Orange County Fair
Fridays are Seniors Day (60+) $2 off + free Ferris wheel + merry-go-round rides – all day
Fridays have $2 Tastings Taste of Fair Food (Noon – 4 p.m.). All food vendors will offer a sample for $2.
Fridays $2 Rides + $2 Games (Sold until 4 p.m., valid until 7 p.m.)
Saturdays and Sundays: Get in for only $2 if you arrive the first hour the fair is open 10-11 a.m.
Wednesdays and Thursdays: Get an unlimited carnival ride wristband for $25 or $2 games (sold until 5 p.m. good until 8 p.m.)
Fair Super Pass This season pass allows passholder entry all days Fair is open (23 days) plus 20 % off all tickets to Hangar concerts and Action Sports Arena. BOGO on many Pacific Amphitheatre shows. If you purchase more than $99 in concert and show tickets, the Super Pass is free. There is a $5 discount if you purchase before July 14. Save fee on ALL tickets by buying from Box Office rather than online.
OCTA Fair Flyer Express: Get into the fair for only $2 with a coupon from OCTA. Transit locations: Huntington Beach/Santa Ana/Anaheim/San Juan Capistrano/Fullerton Service hours Friday 3 pm – Midnight/ Saturday & Sunday: 10 am – Midnight Bus fee: $1.50 one way/ $3 round trip
